Founded by Ewan Heads, LMC Fabrications is the result of years of hands-on experience, long hours, and a genuine passion for metalwork. Ewan completed his trade welding aluminium boats at Seajay Boats, where he developed a deep understanding of precision fabrication, structural integrity, and the importance of doing things properly the first time. From early on, the dream was always there — to one day build a business that focused on quality, practicality, and truly custom solutions.

After working for seajjay that dream was put into action. For over five years, Ewan worked out of the backyard, taking on everything from trays and canopies to trailer repairs, fuel tank builds, boat side pockets, and custom one-off jobs. Each project sharpened his skills, built his reputation, and reinforced the values that LMC Fabrications now stands for: attention to detail, honest communication, and no shortcuts.

As demand grew, so did the vision. Ewan made the leap, opening LMC Fabrications in a large, fully equipped workshop and bringing on a team of skilled, like-minded tradesmen who share the same standards and work ethic. What started as a backyard operation has grown into a dedicated fabrication business trusted by customers who want things done right.
